I saw Cry Wolf for only the third time ever at The Red Lion in Twickenham in 2003. The pub was absolutely heaving, full of punters decked out in their finest and ready for a great night of rock, which the band expertly delivered, despite being squeezed into an astonishingly small space bounded by the wooden railings typical of a pub of its era.
In later years it suffered several closings and reopenings, ultimately being re-branded as Filthy McNasty's, when the stage area was widened and a house PA and lights were installed.
Alas, one of our most beloved venues finally closed for the last time early in 2010.
